We may be heading into Fall soon, but there’s still ONE WEEKEND LEFT to get the last of those Summer Bucket List items (who are we kidding, I’ll be going to the beach as long as possible.

But there are still so many fun events to take advantage of- and we are working on a whole list below. Check back often as we add even more!

Labor Day Fairs and Festivals:

September 2- October 15: Connecticut Renaissance Faire

Lebanon, Conn – Step back in time to a 16th-century harvest festival at Connecticut Renaissance Faire’s 25th anniversary celebration! All ages can enjoy the magic of the Renaissance – costumes are encouraged, but not required. Don’t miss out on an enchanted journey to the days of yore and celebrate with some good, old-fashioned fun.

September 1-4: Haddam Neck Fair:

Labor Day Weekend fun for the whole family! This top rated CT Agricultural Fair has rides, games, a carnival, livestock and more.

September 1-4: Goshen Fair:

Head to the Goshen Fairgrounds for these Labor Day weekend festivities. Fun for the whole family, including ag events, games, contests, animals and more!

September 1-4: Woodstock Fair:

Connecticut’s largest (and one of the oldest!) agricultural fairs is always Labor Day Weekend.  Multiple stages, horse shows, contests, Midways and more make this a family fun festival to remember.

September 2-3: Lyman Orchards Cider and Donut Festival (and Corn Maze Opening!)

Middlefield- Follow the yellow brick road in “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” themed Corn Maze at Lyman Orchards, open September 2nd until November 5th.   We will be celebrating opening day with our annual ribbon cutting ceremony, all are welcome to join! Go through the maze and then head over to our Corn Maze and Cider Donut Festival happening on September 2rd & 3rd.

Parades, Concerts, and Games: 

September 1-3: Labor Day with the Hartford Yard Goats
September 1: Sunsets at Spouter – Mystic Seaport:

Mystic- Enjoy the magic of after-hours at the Museum, while you sip summer cocktails and kick back to live music at Schaefer’s Spouter Tavern. You’ll want to soak up the last weeks of summer with one of the best waterfront views in town!

September 3:  United States Coast Guard Band Concert

Avery Point: On Sunday, September 3rd at 5pm at the University of Connecticut Avery Point Campus, the United States Coast Guard Band presents its Labor Day Concert and finale to its summer concert series. This event is free and open to the public, no tickets are required. The Avery Point Campus has accessible entrances, parking, and restrooms.

September 4: Newtown Labor Day Parade

Newtown- The only town we know of in Connecticut that hosts a parade for this holiday!
